Pharmaceutical Consultant Website Design

Wednesday, August 20th, 2008

Following a successful meeting yesterday Pixelwave Web Design is looking forward to making a start on a new website design and construction project for an independent consultant in Pharmaceutical Medicine.

Peter Dewland, a founder member of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine at the Royal College of Physicians has expertise spanning the whole field of pharmaceutical medicine with particuar interests  in early phase studies. He also enjoys teaching both physicians and scientists on a variety of courses associated with paharmaceutical development.

Peter Dewland’s new website will contain his professional profile and C.V. along with the services he offers as an independent pharmaceutical consultant. It will be built using modern, standards Compliant XHTML and CSS and will be optimised for accessibility and search engines. Hopefully it will be a fairly straight-forward project for me so it should be ready for release soon.

Hartwell Events website goes live

Thursday, August 14th, 2008

I’m pleased to annouce that the new website built by Pixelwave Web Design for Hartwell Events has just gone live.

Hartwell Events provide adventure events and weekends in Wales as well as corporate training and teamleader events. I’ve just had a meeting with the business owner to tidy up some loose ends on their new website and he is excited about the prospect of it being live online so that he can start marketing their services straight away. We launched the website online whilst he was here so if you are planning an adventure weekend, stag weekend, hen night or just want to have a weekend with a difference, check out their new website and get in touch.

The events look like great fun and if all of the leaders are as enthusiastic as Ali then you can’t fail to have a great time at Hartwell Events.

Website revamp for adventure event provider

Monday, August 4th, 2008

Pixelwave Web Design has just started work on a complete revamp of a website for an adventure events provider in Wales.

Hartwell Events, previously had a website for their ‘Operation Teamleader’ activities but now that their offerings have moved on to provide adventure events, group events, stag weekends and all manner of adventure activities and training their website is undergoing a complete revamp to reflect these changes. Pleased with the overall look and layout of their previous site (also built by Pixelwave Web Design), we shall be keeping these aspects of the site but will be changing the entire content of the site and updating the imagery to correlate with their new adventure activities.

Website Maintenance

Saturday, August 2nd, 2008

I’m keeping busy here with all the day to day web development tasks. As well as working on several new projects I’ve been busy with various maintenance tasks on certain websites too.

Timberlane Books, a website built by someone else but now maintained by Pixelwave Web Design has had several new pages added following the release of a new book about Pandemic Flu in America. The website owner seems pleased with the work so far:

I’m very pleased with the site — you’ve done a *great* job and I’d be happy to provide a testimonial for any of your prospective customers.

Neil Scott, Timberlane Books.

Clare Maynard’s site, again built by someone else but now maintained by me, has also had a revamp. As well as changing the content on many of the existing pages I have also built a new ‘photo journal‘ section for Clare. This was built from the ground up so the coding conforms to modern standards and should be more accessible and search engine friendly than earlier parts of the site. Work is continuing on these updates.

I’ve also been busy as usual working on the Fairies World website which has had many updates and changes including a completely revamped home page.

As any good website owner will know, it is imperative that your website is kept up to date. Not only does it allow your visitors access to the latest information and keep them coming back to check for updates, but search engines like to see regularly updated content too. If your website needs some maintenance, a revamp or just some love and tender care then Pixelwave Web Design can help. Contact me to discuss your requirements
