Slick Activewear is an eCommerce website dedicated to selling original design clothing for active and adventure sports.

The website is based on an opensource eCommerce system. The starting point for the bespoke design was a website template.

Pixelwave Web Design set up and configured the eCommerce software and integrated it with the design then made numerous aesthetic changes to this design. In Pixelwave Web Design worked on various changes and additions to the functionality of the eCommerce system to produce a unique, attractive and fully functional website. Working in close collaboration with my clients I was able to use their original digital artwork to enhance the look of the site to tie in with their distinctive company branding.

Behind the scenes, the shop-staff have access to an easy to use Administration Centre which includes the following features.

  • Product Management and Site Content Management.
  • Simple Image upload and optimisation tool.
  • Product sorting feature.
  • 'Specials' Management.
  • Category Management.
  • Shop Settings Management.
  • Member Management.
  • Newsletter Feature.

The eCommerce aspect of the site is fully automated making purchasing porducts easy for the customer and processing orders easy for the shop owners.

Update: March 2008

Pixelwave Web Design is now working on a new trade version of the Slick Activewear website allowing them to sell their products to wholesale customers.
