Publishing Articles
I've been having a bit of an 'website design' article writing frenzy lately. Many of the articles have been related to Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) techniques and best practices. I have been aware however that many webmasters tend to spend far too much time, money and effort on optimising their websites for search engines and not nearly enough time writing good quality content for their website. I've therefore started another brief article on SEO and how 'content is king'.
Writing articles for your website is one of the best things you can do. Not only does it provide useful information for your websites' visitors but it also provides search engines with the content they need to 'see' in order to give your website good rankings within their results pages. On top of which, the very same articles can be used to generate more website traffic
As well as publishing them here in the Pixelwave Design's Article Section I have been submitting them to a couple of other websites and I am pleased to announce that they have all been accepted and published.
Writing articles on your websites subject and publishing them on other websites is an excellent way of establishing yourself as an expert in your chosen field and also generating inbound links
Many of the article repositories on the web allow other webmasters to use the articles in their own websites as long as they include the authors details and a link to their site. I've been amazed at just how quickly a good quality article turns up in numerous websites across the internet and as each one of these has a link back to my site it is a great way of generating quality inbound links.
I am actually quite enjoying writing the articles themselves, and with the added benefits of:
- More information for my sites visitors
- More Inbound Links
- Better Search Engine rankings
- More website traffic
- Increased respect for the work I do
I just can't lose.
