A Personal Weblog
Everyone seems to have one these days. The page you are reading at the moment, although heavily disguised is one, so I thought it was time that I had one... What am I talking about? Weblogs of course.
I seem to have been building quite a few recently and adding them to websites that wouldn't normally have such a feature. They are an excellent way of keeping your website up to date, offer numerous benefits as far as Search Engine Optimisation goes and cna be a useful way of interracting with your website's visitors. Weblogs come in all shapes and sizes, from large corporate weblogs aimed at promoting a business to simple personal weblogs with very little purpose.
Pixelwave Design already has its own weblog, you are reading it now. Its purpose is to promote my services, keep people informed of the work I am currently doing and generally show that Pixelwave Design is alive and well with a regularly updated website and a real live person working hard to satisfy its clients.
My new weblog - A Simple Life of Luxury is a much more personal affair, probably only of interest to my mum, but it may be of interest to others and I can use it as an example of how a weblog works should any clients want to know more about the world of blogging.
