Facility Management Integration Project
As part of the ongoing development of the website Pixelwave Web Design constructed for the University of Wales, Aberystwyth Estates Office, we are currently working on the integration of a complete facility management solution.
We will be using the commercial software PlanetFM and integrating this with their existing website. Planet FM is a complete facility management solution that helps to optimise the utilisation of space, maintain assets and building fabric, and provide a responsive service to occupiers.
The Estates Office will use the system to make the informed decisions needed to control budgets and obtain "best value" from Service Contracts. It helps them to ensure compliance with the H&S regulations and provide a safe working environment. The comprehensive Planned Mainenance tools will help to reduce energy and operating costs and extend asset service life by implementing schedules of regular maintenance services and inspections.
Once this sytem is integrated with their website, it will be accessible to those with the relevant access priveleges from any internet connected computer.
